Bullpen Publishing Solutions was founded by Darren Kelly, a results-driven publishing
professional with almost 20 years of experience. Darren possesses a unique combination of
proven editorial, production, and project management skills that enhance all aspects of the
process from inception of the project to completion.

It all started in college when Darren was an English major who also worked as a Writing Tutor and as the Editor of the school newspaper. Correcting grammar mistakes and making text flow better became second nature. After a brief stint in the political world (thanks to a Politics double major and an internship with his Congressman), Darren entered the world of publishing.

Beginning as an Editorial Assistant, Darren has since been an Assistant Editor, Managing Editor,
Production Editor, Production Supervisor, and Production Manager for various publishing companies.
In addition to these roles, Darren has also served as a freelance copyeditor, proofreader, production
manager, and developmental editor. These varied experiences serve as the bedrock for Darren’s

ability to work on multiple projects at various stages of completion.
